Because every pet’s needs are unique, please call us for service pricing. We can arrange for single visit pricing or develop a more comprehensive plan that is right for you. We will try to provide financial assistance to those in need. In general:
A standard home visit consultation (1 hour) within 20 miles of Durango is in the $200 - 250 range depending on the complexity of the case.
A home visit for euthanasia is also in the $200 - 250 range (includes sedation and IV euthanasia). Additional charges for body transport and aftercare (cremation) may apply. See aftercare below.
For housecalls that are more than 20 miles from the Durango Library an additional travel fee of $20+ may be added.
Included in the standard consultation and home visit for euthanasia is a complimentary phone consultation (up to 20 minutes) and an in-office follow up consult for grief support.
Follow up visit fees and fees for specific hospice (comfort care) related therapies will be determined on a case by case basis. For complicated or lengthy hospice cases medical and other costs may be significantly more than basic care. We will discuss this with you at the time of our initial consultation. All fees are due and payable at time of service.
